Local 596 would like to welcome you to the Laborers’ Local 596 website. We are 575 men and women that work on heavy highway and building projects in Western Massachusetts. Local 596 is on the forefront of tracking and actively seeking projects for the future to build a better and stronger tomorrow. We take pride in the collaborative effort between our great members and signatory contractors to complete projects on time and under budget. All while providing the safest and worker friendly jobsites in the industry. President John F.
